The Federative Republic Of Brazil is the fifth largest country in terms of both population and total area in the world. Its’ geographic boundary lies between Atlantic Ocean and South America. The tropic of cancer and line of equator passes through Brazil. These were Portuguese who invaded Brazil during 1500.
Brazil has declared its independence from Portugal on September 7, 1822, and recognized as Independent nation on August 29, 1825. Brazil became Federative Democratic Republic on November 18, 1889 after getting its’ own constitution. The Brazil administration is divided into 26 states and 5564 municipalities. Brazil is a culturally mix country, Amerindian, African, Asian, European and largest number of Roman Catholics lives here. Brazilian people older than 18 yeas and younger than 70 years must have to vote; however voting is optional for people age between 16 to 18 years and older than 70 years.
